Agreements · England & Wales
A pre-nuptial, post-nuptial or cohabitation agreement records what each of you brings to the relationship and what would happen to it if you parted. Written while you are getting on, it takes the hardest conversation off the table for good. Enter the figures for both of you once and AgreeReady drafts the agreement in the form the courts expect, with the disclosure schedules and the certificates for independent legal advice. Nothing you type is sent to us.

A pre-nuptial agreement sets out what each of you owns now, what you would keep and how anything built together would be shared. Signed at least 28 days before the ceremony, with disclosure and advice on each side, the court will usually hold you to it.
Build a pre-nuptial agreementA post-nuptial agreement does the same job after the ceremony: when an inheritance arrives, a business grows, one of you steps back from work or you simply never got round to it before the wedding.
Build a post-nuptial agreementUnmarried couples have very few rights against each other, whatever people say about common-law marriage. A cohabitation agreement records who owns what, who pays for what and what happens to the home, the savings and the pets if you separate.
Build a cohabitation agreementHow it works
You enter the figures for each of you once. AgreeReady drafts the agreement, the schedules of disclosure and the certificates your advisers sign, all from the same figures, so nothing is retyped and nothing disagrees.
Names, dates, the home, savings, pensions, debts, income and what you have agreed are typed into a single case file, on your own device. Nothing is sent to us.
Pre-nuptial or post-nuptial agreement £249, cohabitation agreement £169, pet-nup £49. Each is drafted in the form the courts expect, with the recitals, disclosure schedules and signing blocks a judge will look for.
Download as Word or PDF, read it together, each take independent legal advice and sign in front of a witness. The certificates of advice are included.

Our notes
Plain-English notes on making an agreement that will stand up, for couples who would rather sort this out themselves. Here is what the first few cover.

Who we are
We have both been through divorce ourselves and we built AgreeReady so that couples can settle the money side while they are still on the same side, at a price they can afford.
